Alvin Kilgore, 60, of Newport, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016.He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Joe and Florence Knox Kilgore.He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tina Bolton Kilgore, son, Alvin, Jr. (Amanda) Kilgore, daughters, Amber Kilgore- (Conard) Greene, Stephanie Stewart- (Gordon) Ellis, and Jenny Nunley, brothers, Earl, John, and Calvin, sisters Joyce and Faye, "my little buddy", Bransen Greene, and nine grandchildren.The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to nurse practitioner and family friend, Jennifer Eisenhower.The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Johnathan Walton officiating. Entombment will be 11:00am Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Kilgore family.
