Obituary
Arzel Greene, age 77, of Newport, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 28, 2018. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired employee of Bush Brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Elizabeth Greene and infant sister, Marcella Greene. He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Williamson Greene, beloved daughter, Sharon Greene Rogers of Newport, and beloved granddaughter, Brittany (Scott) Whitehead of New Market, great grandchildren, Hunter, Kennedy, and Rhyley, brothers, Eugene (Shirley) Greene and Arnold Lee (Bonnie) Greene, sister, Jeanette Adkins, several special nieces and nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Robert Williamson. Graveside service will take place Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00am at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Dandridge. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Greene family.
