Barbara June "Bobbie" Hall age 83 of Newport, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home.She was a homemaker and a member of the English Creek Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Hall, parents James Garland and Bessie Denton Whitson and Brother Bill Whitson.She is survived by her children Christopher (Teresa) Hall of Warrior, Alabama. Deborah (Bobby) Erby, Tim (Debbie) Hall, Robert E. (Vicky) Hall all of Newport. Sisters Edith Baxter of Oak Ridge, Judy (John) Wade of Seymour, Linda Whitson of Newport. Brother Dan (Mary) Whitson of Seymour and sister-in-law Betty Whitson of Newport; Eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.Funeral service will be 8:00 pm Monday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Shelton and Chaplin Glen Bradley officiating.Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm Monday prior to the service.Family and friends will meet at 9:45am Tuesday at the Hall Cemetery, Friendship Road Newport for a 10 am graveside service.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hall family.
