Mrs. Barbara J. Keiser's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Jean Keiser, age 84, of Newport, passed away Saturday morning, December 29, 2018 at her home, in her favorite chair with her son Mark by her side.
Mrs. Keiser was born May 11, 1934 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Carl and Myrle Sauers. She met a young man from Sidney, Ohio by the name of William Keiser Jr. They married and together raised four children. They were married nearly sixty five years when Dad passed away in November 2015. She was a homemaker and Scott’s caregiver for nearly twenty eight years until his passing and was past president of Amvets Auxiliary Post #66 in Covington, Ohio
She is preceded in death by her husband, son and parents. Mom would be upset if I didn’t add her two baby dogs Jack and Jack.
Survivors include her daughters Karla (Marvin) Cool and Sheryl Hartley all of Piqua, Ohio and a son Mark Keiser of Newport; four grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; brother Carl Sauers of Moore Haven, Florida.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. David McConnell and his nurse Sharon for all the love and kindness they gave to Mom. She would say “They are the Best” and to Lincare (Kevin and the girls) for all the years of supplying us with equipment.
Per Mrs. Keiser request, she will be cremated and her cremains will be placed by her husband and son in Union Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
