Betty Ruth Blazer, 80, of Newport, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Blazer, her parents William ‘Bill' Talton and Lula Hensley Talton. Sister, Imogene Blazer, Viola, and brother , Cleve Talton.She is survived by her sons, Gary, Ronnie, Eddie, Charlie, and Bobby Blazer. Grandchildren: Gary Blazer, Jr., Chelsie Lane, Johnathan Blazer, Betty Jean (Aaron) Ball, Dedra Blazer, Chris Henderson, April Saylor, Tiffany Blazer, great grandchildren, Hannah Blazer, Logan Blazer, Tenlee Lane, Madison Saylor, and Reagan Webb. Sisters, Rosalee Jennings, and Etter Caldwell. Brothers: Dewey, Wallace, L V, Ralph, and Joe Talton.Family will receive friends in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 5pm-7pm. Funeral will follow at 7pm with Rev. Jeff Ledbetter and rev. Manson Lee officiating.
