Mr. Carl Dedward Toby, age 79, of Bybee, passed away Thursday evening, August 3, 2023.
He was a member and Deacon at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by wife Elizabeth Sweeten Toby; wife Kathleen Willis Toby; mother Leoda Toby and a sister Jeanette Sprouse.
Survivors include his sisters Lena Stepp of Bybee and Diane Sweeten of Newport. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, August 7, 2023 in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Porter and Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. interment. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home prior to the service.
