Mr. Carmello Scarito's Obituary
Mr. Carmello Scarito, age 75, of Newport, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at his home.
He was retired from Loral Aerospace in Akron, Ohio. His previous occupations included having been a part time Police Officer in Dalton, Ohio, a mechanic where he worked in the garage most of his life with his brothers, kids or friends fixing, building or painting cars, He enjoyed working on anything that had a motor, tinkering with electronics and he liked to draw.
He fought long and hard over the last few years, a selfless act just to be there for his family.
Mr. Scarito was preceded in death by his father Pete Scarito; mother Ora Scarito; brother Pete Scarito.
Survivors include his wife Mary Scarito of the home; daughter Bobbi (Robert) Gainey and sons Timothy Scarito, Joseph (Melissa) Scarito all of Ohio and Zane Scarito of USMC; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way; brother John (Rebecca) Scarito of Ohio and sister Marlene Stokich of California. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Wounded Warriors, 223 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Suite 301, Nashville, Tennessee 37203 in memory of Mr. Carmello Scarito.
