Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Gentry's Obituary
Mrs. Carolyn Ruth Wills Gentry, age 71, of Hot Springs, passed away, Monday, December 17, 2018 at Mission Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerdine Gentry; parents Dewey and Verner Catherine Wills; sisters Viola Taylor and Roberta Wills and brothers Alonzo Wills and Wayne Wills.
Survivors include her sons Dale (Tina) Gentry and Michael (Sherry) Gentry all of Marshall, North Carolina; grandchildren Christine Grigsby, Amber Franklin, Carrie Gentry, Jacob Gentry, Trenton Gentry; great grandchildren Carson Shane Maynard, Elizabeth Marie Maynard, Malachi Gunner Guffey and Gabriel Warren Case; brothers Lloyd Wills and Eugene Wills; sister Cleo Swaney, Shirley Frazier, Pauline Stills and sister in law Kathy Wills. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Antioch United Methodist Church (Hot Springs) with Pastor Jerry Wrenn and Rev. Randy Wood officiating. Interment will be in Paint Rock Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the church prior to the service.
