Mr. Charlie Wade Branam's Obituary
Kind hearted, grumpy, larger than life, gave the shirt off his back, hateful and funny Charlie Wade Branam passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at his home.
He was talented with the gift of music and had the ability to play several stringed instruments.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alonzo and Callie Branam; daughter Barbara Jean Branam; sister Wilma Yvonne Branam; brother Wayne Daniel Branam.
Survivors include his children Nancy Shults, Cheryl (Rick) Lovell, Charlie “Chuck” Branam, Marcy Branam, Becky (Travis) Helmboldt and Jason Ball; step son Bill Williamson; grandchildren Heather Shults, Ricky (Stephanie) Lovell, Caity Lovell, Shon Lunsford, Mikaila Leslie, Angel Brooks, Destini Brooks, Jacob Ball, Bryson Crumbley, Jay Ledford, William Williamson and Ashley Williamson. great granddaughters Brooklyn Lovell and Aurora Williamson; brother Lonnie (Lucy) Branam. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews and special friend Norma Williamson.
The funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, September 19, 2017 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glen Dockins officiating. The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Union Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening prior to the service.
He requested his final attire be that which he wore daily: jeans and pocket tee shirt. In his honor the family will dress the same way and all others are invited to do the same as well.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Costner-Maloy Funeral Home to help with the final expense.
