I am so glad Nanny is no longer suffering and I am personally glad the last time I visited her, during Christmas, she was was doing well and we had such a good visit with one another. I will cherish that memory. Love to you all.3.Doris Brown Early Says: January 10th, 2011 at 2:29 pm Cora was the last child of my grandfathter Dr. B. P. Ford, of Grassy Fork,Tn. My mother Mamie Lee Ford Brown was Cora's sister. They were very close. All of Walt's and Cora Mae's children and I grew up together . When we would go to vist Daddy Ford in Grassy Fork, we had some wonderful days as we played in the creek in front of Dr. Parker's (as people called Dr. Ford) house. We all had good childhood because of our heritage. I just read the obituary by googling Cora's name. It is good to know that they are all together again. They are sitting by the water that flows from the throne of GOD…ABSENT FROM THE BODY…PRESENT WITH GOD! That is God's promise to a born again child of God.4.Casey Allen Sweeten Says: January 11th, 2011 at 3:52 pm I had the pleasure of taking care of Cora when she was a resident of Newport Health and Rehab. She always knew how to put a smile on my face, and would often tell stories of when she visited my great-grandparents many years ago. Many good memories come from childhood as we played at Grassy Fork with our cousins. I'm so sorry we didn't get to the services. The weather was so bad. I hope all of Walt and Cora Mae's children will take comfort in that all of the Dr Ford children are with their family members and the circle is not broken anymore. May God continue blessing you all.10.Maxine Clark Staton Says: February 15th, 2011 at 12:42 am Sorry for your loss.
