Cynthia Leigh Cross, 44, recently of Sevierville, but formerly of Columbia, South Carolina, went to be with our Lord on September 18, 2013. Cindy was born on January 5, 1969 in Harrison Township, Michigan. She was a 1995 Graduate of Gardner Webb University and was a Sign Language Interpreter at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, SC for 17 years. Cindy's love for her family and friends was enormous. Her bubbly personality was infectious. Everyone who met her loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Cross Jackson; son in law, Josh Jackson; granddaughter, Wylie Jackson. Mother: Brenda Shelton Smith, Brothers and sisters; Chad Cross, John Jackson, Pamela Griph, and Cindy Spurgeon, plus many neices, nephews and extended family. She is painfully missed by her family and all who met. She is holding our sweet Nate, with the Lord. We love you sweet nawny, mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Parkway Church of God, 681 Parkway, Sevierville, TN. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 6 - 7pm. Service will be at 7. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to offset the cost of funeral services, information for donations will be given at the service. Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home of Newport, TN.
