Obituary
Danny James, age 58, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis James.
He is survived by his ex-wife and caregiver, Carla James Coggins of Newport, son, Bro. David (Robin) James of Hartford, mother, Diane James of Newport, grandson, Hunter James, stepson, Carl Wayne Self of Dandridge, step daughers, Jessica Reed and Nikki Kelley of Newport, step grandchildren, Cole Shepherd, Jordan Self, Cooper Kelley, and Alyssa Self, great grandson, Eli James, and sister, Heather James of Newport.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 5:00pm at Hill Top Baptist Church with Bro. David James and Bro. Ben Watts officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:00pm prior to service.
