Mr. Danny 'Toot' Spurgeon's Obituary
Mr. Danny “Toot” Spurgeon, age 40, of Del Rio, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Newport Medical Center.
Mr. Spurgeon was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoying fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father Danny Lynn Phillips.
Survivors include his parents Betty and Jimmy Riddle of Morristown, brother James (Sherrie) Riddle of Walland, Tn.,sister Jennifer Parks, grandmother Betty Phillips both of Newport and girlfriend Tennille Coakley of Del Rio. Additional survivors include several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, April 26, 2016 in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Carson and Jimmy Riddle officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Wednesday morning, April 27, 2016 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 11:00 am interment.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm—8:00 pm Tuesday evening at Costner-Maloy prior to service.
