Donny Earl Williamson, age 56, of Newport passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was a member of The Church of God Assembly.He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Joan Johnson and Joe Williamson, granddaughter, Kaylynn Elizabeth Cody, and niece, Michelle Bandriff.He is survived by his wife, Lisa Williamson, mothers of his children, Judy Williamson and Marian Frambes, children, Donna Swaggerty, Chris Rollins, Crystal Thomas, Brandy Baker, Kimberly Brookshire, Elizabeth Kelly (Seth) Cody, Steven (Tricia) Rollins, Donyelle Rathbone, and Vicki Williamson. Pop Pop was also survived by twenty grandchildren, sisters, Gail Metcalf, Vera Norton, Sally Allende, and Robin O'Sicky, brothers, Bobby Hill and David Smith, a host of nieces, nephews, family friends, extended granchildren, and cousins by the dozens.The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00pm with Pastor Ken Norton and Pastor Paul Pratt officiating. Burial will take place Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10:00am in the Big Hill Cemetery, Del Rio.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Donny Williamson family.
