Mrs. Doris L. Belcher

Mrs. Doris Loretta Belcher, age 97, of Cosby, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 4, 2024.
Mrs. Belcher was a devoted follower of Jesus, a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a Pentecostal Christian by Faith and a homemaker. The family is comforted in the assurance that she is rejoicing triumphantly in the arms of her Savior, Christ our Lord.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leland Wilfred Belcher; daughter Freda H. Scovill; son-in-law Larry Williamson; parents George Spillman Sr. and Rachel Elligood; brothers George Spillman Jr., Bill Spillman and wife Marge; sisters Melva Drews and husband John.
Survivors include daughter Melva Williamson of Jones Cove, grandchildren; Corene (Adam) Gooch, Russell Williamson (partner Breanna Schultz), Conner Williamson, Noah Gooch and Atticus Schultz-Williamson.
Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express special thanks to Joyce Shults, Breanna Shultz and UT Hospice Staff.
Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Norris Cemetery on Bogard Rd. for the 10:00 a.m. graveside service with Rev. Johnny Williamson officiating.
