Mrs. Edith Aileen Phillips' Obituary
Mrs. Edith Aileen Phillips, age 68, of Cosby, passed away, Thursday morning, May 10, 2018 at Tennova Newport Convalescent Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rule and Trula Lindsey; sister Jean Baxter; brothers-in-law Clemmon Phillips and Stocal Phillips; father-in-law and mother-in-law Omer and Zella Phillips
Survivors include her husband Ronald Phillips Sr. of the home; son Ronald (Linda) Phillips Jr. of Sevierville; granddaughters Chelsea (Zack) Burnett and Cassidy Rader; great grandchildren Jayden, Canyan and Ruger Burnett, Crew and Laynie Rader all of Sevierville; sisters Leta Lindsey of Gatlinburg and Roena (Whitey) Baxter of Newport; sisters-in-law Ruby Hall and Kathleen Odell both of Newport. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews; special “daughter” Christy (Johnny Paul) Wilson of Knoxville, special “son” Horace (Darlene) Leonard of North Carolina and a special nurse Tina Kehrley.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, May 12, 2018 at the Caton’s Grove Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Phillips officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Costner-Maloy to help cover the final expenses.
