Mr. Elzie Dwayne "Bimbo" Moore's Obituary
Mr. Elzie Dwayne “Bimbo” Moore, age 51, of Hot Springs, NC, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010, after an unexpected illness.
Dwayne was a native of Hot Springs in Madison County, NC and had been a resident of Perham, Maine for the past eight years.
Born to ‘wheel and deal,’ trading was his passion. He enjoyed spending time with his family above all else.
He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Moore.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Dawn and Warren Grigsby and Lorrie and Joseph Penland, eight grandchildren; parents Elzie and Betty Jo Moore of Hot Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law Ann and Johnny Payne, Jennie and Ronnie Waldroup, Della and Dale Creagor, Mary and Michael Boyd, and Sherri and Mark Shelton; brother and sister-in-law Johnny and Marcella Moore.
Additional survivors include eleven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010, at Bonnie Hill Church with Captain Kenny Clewis, Rev. Bobby Hayes, and Rev. Wylene Skipper officiating.
Interment will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family at their convenience at the family home at Upper Shut-in Road after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010.
