I am a granddaughter of Dave and Mandy Gunter, daughter of their youngest son, Winston. Grandpa Dave was a brother of Uncle George, Flora’s dad. I do a lot of family research, so I like to keep up with family, those I met and those I never met. Sherman was my dad’s beloved cousin, so he used to take us to visit him, Lady, Sharon, and Wayne. They always treated us with such kindness and with great hospitality. I wish I could have met Flora and all the children of Uncle George and Aunt Mabel. I was privileged to meet Eva Joyce a few years ago before my mother died. I bid you my fondest condolences on the passing of your dear mother and aunt. I am certain I would have loved her had I known her.

I meet Flora after another friend invited me to weight watchers, I became there driver to alot of get togethers we had a great time,she and Betty made me laugh alot.

Where do I begin, Aunt Flora was more like a second mom to me than an Aunt. Aunt Flora gave the best hugs and good advice to me . Aunt Flora was spunky and never let anyone run over her. Daddy and Aunt Flora was very close and Daddy always agrivated her and she agrivated him to. Aunt Flora always told me that she knew I was a Gunter because I looked like them so much . My condolences and sympathy goes out to her children and grandchildren. In the few years I have known Mrs Flora and better known as "Mamaw". She was a very independent and intelligent women. If you were her friend it was for life. I am proud to have known Flora. I know she will be missed by all that knew her.
