Frankie Jo Denton, age 89, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Denton and Harry Denton, son, Ray (Bernice) Denton, Jr., parents, Crockett and Callie Shults, sister, Louise Peace, grandson, John Denton, and great granddaughter, Brittany Denton.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Denton and Martha Denton Lane and husband, Tom, grandchildren, Tim Denton, Carrie Matthews, Eddie Denton, and Brad Ford, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donation be made to Bybee Methodist Church Meal Ministry.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice for their excellent care.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 1, 2019 beginning promptly at 3:00 pm at Bybee United Methodist Church with Pastor Dennie Humphreys and Bro. Ned Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm-3:00pm prior to service.
