Glenn Michael Belda, age 51, passed away October 10, 2019
He was born in Chicago, IL and later moved to Newport where he spent the rest of his life. He was a 1988 graduate of Cocke County High School and worked as a pipe fitter for various companies.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John "Opie" Belda, mother, Marcine Burns, grandparents, Alex and Flora Belda, Gertrude and Grant Brannen, and Frank Mihigan.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen Belda, daughter, Alexis "Lexi" Belda, parents, John H. and Margaret "Skimp" Belda, siblings, Matthew (Frankie) Belda, Ritchie Dick (Vickie), Andrew (Catherine) Belda, Kathryn (Steve) Jaffray , Mike (Penny) Dick, Tina (Mike) Sexton, aunts, Mary (Jim) Anderson, Ruth Belda, and several nieces and nephews.
Per his request, he was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at 172 Rhea Street Newport, TN. Everyone is invited to attend and share your stories.
