Houston McGaha, age 84 of Newport, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Physicians Regional Medical Center.He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Reba McGaha; sons, Ronald Lane & Jackie McGaha; parents, Elmer & Della McGaha; brothers, Bob, Doyle, Gene, & Chip; and sisters, Martha, Nancy, & Unive.He is survived by his son, Rick McGaha; daughter, Debra McGaha; sister, Daisy Brewster; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, & friends.The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM Monday, April 3, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7PM with Rev. Leon Large officiating.Burial will take place Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017 at 10AM in the Allen's Chapel Church Cemetery.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve Mr. McGaha's family.
