Mr. Isaac Allen Valentine's Obituary
Mr. Isaac Allen Valentine, age 82, of Newport, passed away Friday morning, June 14, 2024, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital.
Isaac was the last of 10 children born to Joseph and Sadie Valentine. He was a member of Allen’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He loved going to the Music Barn, attending car shows and was a member of Hard Times Car Club. He was employed in 1962 at Stokely Van Camp and retired in 2007 from Con Agra.
He was preceded in death by his wife Laurine Huff Valentine; granddaughter Gabriel Valentine; great-granddaughter Chasity Valentine; parents Joseph Winfield Valentine and Sadie Jenkins Valentine; 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
Survivors include his daughter Sadie Darlene Valentine of Newport; grandchildren Chuck Valentine, Ashley (Jason) Price and Austin (Jennifer) Valentine all of Newport; great-grandchildren Maddie Williamson, Brantley Valentine, Kaylee Valentine, Lucas Valentine, Weston Valentine and Isaac Valentine. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Large officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Tuesday at Costner-Maloy & Brown prior to the service.
