James Arvin Keys age 70 of White Pine formerly of Newport, died suddenly Thursday morning.He was retired from Hunt Foods after 44 years of service.He was a faithful member of the Denton Baptist Church, member of the Crystalaires Quartet for 17 years and touched many of lives over the years.He was a beloved husband, father, Grandfather, brother and uncle.He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Zelma Clevenger Keys and sister Mary Ellen Keys.He is survived by his wife of 46 years Margaret Dalton Keys of the home, son and daughter-in-law Wesley Arvin and Misty Keys of Newport, daughter and son-in-law Lori Miranda and Alan Fox of Knoxville.Grand children Ethan Bryce and Cody James Keys and Ally Brooke Fox.Sisters and Brothers-in-law Liz and Bud Talley of Parrottsville, Patti and David Wilder of Collierville.Nieces and nephews Danny, Carmen and Charley LeAnn Talley of Murfreesboro, Jarod, Candice and JohnsonWilder, Whitney and Jesse McClain of Memphis.Special friends and uncle Johnny Clevenger, special cousins Tony Keyes and Missy Griffin, special friends Buck Gregg and Ronnie Norris and a very special companion “Rambo”.Also several cousins, in-laws and extended church family.Funeral service will be 7 pm Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Stephen Swann and the Rev. James Suggs officiating.Family will receive friends from 4 – 7 pm prior to the service.Graveside service will be 2 pm Sunday at the Union Cemetery.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Keys family.
