Mr. James Ernest Styles' Obituary
Mr. James Ernest Styles, age 90, of Newport, passed away Wednesday morning, October 10, 2012, at Newport Medical Center.
Mr. Styles was a retired employee of Stokely-Van Camp and S&W Security.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Styles, son Jeffery Styles, granddaughter Maria M. Hernandez, four brothers, and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughters Peggy (Tony) Perez and Michelle (Jaime) Hernandez, all of Newport; sons Jerry (Vickie) Styles, Charles Styles, Gary Styles, and Allen (Melissa) Styles, all of Newport; grandchildren Courtney Styles, Carlotta Styles, Maria G. Hernandez, Ruby Hernandez, Jeff Hernandez, Cynthia Styles, Luis Perez, Shannon Mangus, Lisa Styles, Brandon Styles, Jessica Styles, and Nikki Styles, all of Newport; Caitlyn Styles of Texas; Cody Styles, Rebecca Styles, Destiny Styles, and Hunter Styles, all of Alabama. Additional survivors include one special great-grandchild Miguel Styles, and sister Edna Evans, of Newport.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012, at the Ray's Chapel Church Cemetery with Pastor Milburn Shelton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made at the funeral home to help cover the final expenses.
