Mr. John Shade Hayes' Obituary
Mr. John Shade Hayes, age 78, of Parrottsville, went home to be with his Lord and his loving wife Sonja ‘Fats’ Hayes, Monday, October 15, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his children Penny Hall, Alice Grooms and Tina Willis; grandson Branddon Hall; parents Ike Chub and Ola Mae Hayes; sisters Bertie Mae Wilson and Jane Dunn and brother Bobby Gene Hayes.
Survivors include his children Bobby (Nadine) Hayes, John Allen (Tammy) Hayes, Chub (Carolyn) Hayes, Charlie Hayes and Shurl Hall; grandchildren Nerissa Hayes, Allison (Eric) Frisbee, Michael (Katie) Hayes, Amber Freeman, Cara Lee Hayes, Kelby (Megan) Hayes, Veronica (Jordan) Hayes, Adam (Vanessa) Smith, Andy (Jennifer) Smith, Sonja Lee Hayes, Estasha Ledford and Lala Mae Willis; thirteen great grandchildren; Sisters Ozell Ellison, Kathleen (Hobert) Campbell and Bessie Hanson and sister-in-law Christine Hayes. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews and friends including special friend Joe Banks.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Parrottsville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Franklin Wine officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. at the cemetery prior to the graveside.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
