Mr. John L. Ramsey's Obituary
Mr. John L. Ramsey, age 50 of Newport passed away Monday afternoon, July 1, 2013 at Newport Medical Center.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Delmar and Viola Shults and his uncle; Charles Miller.
He is survived by his children; daughters; Tiffany Rines of Newport and Ashley Banks of Dandridge, sons; Kevin Ramsey and Jonathan Ramsey of Newport, grandchildren; Haley, Harley and Michael Banks of Dandridge, Sophia Ball, Alysia Greer and Brian Hernandez of Newport, sisters; Renea Newkum and Marlene Jones of Dandridge and Linda Greene of Newport, brothers; Elmer Shults of Morristown, Wayne Ramsey of Middle TN and Freddy Ramsey of Dandridge. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Swannsylvania Baptist Church Cemetery for the 11:00am graveside service with Pastor Ronnie Askew officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00pm – 8:00pm Friday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
