Mrs. Leona Campbell's Obituary
Mrs. Leona Campbell, age 89, of Newport, passed away Thursday evening, October 22, 2015 at Physician Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of Lowe’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
One of her favorite pastime was working in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Alvin Campbell; son-in-law Randy Hartsell; brother J.C. Ball; mother Ollie B. Turner; father Charlie Hall; stepmother Bonnie Hall; step brother Lonnie Joe hall; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jake and Nina Campbell and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Survivors include her daughters Linda (Dempsey) Fine of Cleveland, Ohio and Sue Hartsell of Newport; grandchildren Michelle (Bob) Cooksey, Pattie (Ronnie) Tiedjen and Gaharta Fine (Greg Pack) all of Cleveland, Ohio, Kristi (Chad) Watts, Rand Hartsell and Joshua Hartsell (April Green) all of Newport; great grandchildren Sarah, Ashley, Brianna, Brian, Paul, Zachary, Janelle, Gaberal, Andre, Miranda, Marcus, Erin, Jasmine and Destiny; great great granddaughter Natalie. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and extended family James, Javin, Hayden, Marissa and Jaycee.
The funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, October 25, 2015 in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Caldwell and Pastor Keith Presnell officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Monday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Sunday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home prior to service.
