Lillie E. Palmer, age 67, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Josephine Brown and son Michael Gunter.Survivors include her husband Willie Palmer, daughter Tabitha Gunter, son James Walter "Jay" Gunter, grandson Michael Gunter, granddaughter Hannah Josephine Gunter-McClain, brothers Larry William Brown, Lance Martin Brown, Freddy Caldwell, sister Laural Marie Gibson, nieces and nephews Lorrie Gibson, Stewart Brown and Michelle Brown.Memorial service will be Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the residence of 206 Nutmeg St. Newport, TN 37821.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Palmer family.
