Linda Joyce Parton, 64, of Newport, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Gladys Willis Stokely Gosnell. Brothers, McClellan Stokely and Bobby Stokely.She is survived by her husband, Junior Wallace Parton, daughter, Jeanie Lynn (Tracey) Simpson, son Joe Parton, brothers, Roger and Charles Stokely, grandchildren, Paul Derek Simpson, McKinzie Smith Parton, and Evan Tanner Parton.Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 4pm-6pm. Graveside service will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 1pm in the Stokley Cemetery (Black Branch).Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Parton family.
