Obituary
Lisa Carrell Woods, age 51 of Newport, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022.
She was a member of Cave Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Maxine Smith Carrell; paternal grandparents, Otis & Roxie Carrell; maternal grandparents, Euel & Cleo Smith; She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Butch Faulkner.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Woods; aunts, Shirley (Burl) Roberts and Marilyn (Charles) Manes; mother-in-law, Rachel Woods; sisters-in-law, Becky (Chuck) Adrion, Patty Faulkner, and Nancy (Keith) Jones; special friends, Rhonda Naillon, Tanya Tallent, & Sheila Shelton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Pastors Fred Cagle & James Suggs will officiate the funeral service, which will take place at 2PM Friday, January 14, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from noon to 2PM prior to the service. Burial will follow immediately after the service in the Baxter-Templin Cemetery.
