Mrs. Marilyn S. Henderson's Obituary
Mrs. Marilyn Sue Henderson, age 66, of Newport, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Henderson; parents Mervin Williams and Helen King Williams.
Survivors include her children Mark Henderson of Newport, Teresa (Brian) Ellison of Del Rio and Chelsea Johnson of Nashville; grandchildren Jayden Johnson and Jace Johnson; sister Brenda Powell; brothers Charles (Debbie) Williams and Kenneth Williams all of Cosby. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including sister-in-law and friend Helen Pierce of Newport.
Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Jonestown Cemetery for the 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Leon Large and Pastor Johnny Williams officiating.
In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending service, Costner-Maloy strongly encourages that all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of face masks.
