Mrs. Mary A. Brown's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Alice Blazer Brown, known to many as “Granny Brown”, age 102, of Parrottsville, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday evening, June 21, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Enoch Brown; daughter Shirley Jean Huff; parents Albert and Fairy Blazer; sisters Susie Childress and Virginia “Gin” Seaver and brother Charles “Fred” Blazer.
Survivors include her son William “Bud” (Sandra) Brown of Baneberry; son-in-law Harold Huff of Parrottsville; grandchildren Charles (Paula) Huff of Parrottsville, Angie (Keith) Bailey of Baneberry and Vicki (Jason) Hudson of Greeneville; great-grandchildren Nicholas Huff, Christopher (Gracie) Huff, Kaitlyn Bailey, Taylor Bailey, Abby (Kollynn) Hurst and Seth Hudson. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023 in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey Evans officiating. Interment will follow in Faubion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
