Mrs. Mary Frances Strom's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Frances Strom, age 83, of Hot Springs, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and attended the Hot Springs Community Senior Citizens Group.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Strom, parents Fred and Hattie Barnett, and brother Neal Barnett.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Wayne and Ann Strom of White Pine; Timothy and Melissa Strom and Wade and Vonda Strom, all of Del Rio; and Dwaine and Teresa Strom of Marshall, NC; daughter and son-in-law Judy and Hardin Wrenn of Hot Springs, NC; and Kay and Junior Cody and daughter Belinda Strom of Asheville, NC; 13 grandchildren, including special grandson Chris Sams of Hot Springs, NC; and five great-grandchildren; brother Glen Barnett of Hot Springs, NC; and brothers and sisters-in-law Tommy and Linda Barnett of White Pine and Vaughn and Jenny Fay Barnett of Hot Springs, NC.; sister and brother-in-law Isabell and Gilmer Maynard, Jr. of Hot Springs, NC.
Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Antioch United Methodist Church in Hot Springs with Pastor Randy Wood officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the church prior to the services.
