McKinley "Speedy" Fox of Newport passed away on September 17, 2013 at the age of 79.He was a mechanic by trade and the owner and operator of Fox Wrecker Service for several years until the passing of his son.He is preceded in death b his parents Sam and Lennie fox, loving wife Velma Hance Fox, son McKinley "Bub" Fox, Jr. along with several brothers and sisters.He is survived by his three daughters Kathy (Kenneth) Barnes, Ochie Busler and Betty Fox (Jimmy Holt), five grandchildren Crystal Gregg, Elizabeth Smith, McKala Seymore, Austin Fox, Samantha Sisk and six Great-grandchildren Kacie, Cadence, Bella, Kylie, Eli and Leeah.He is also survived by his brothers Harold Fox, Carl (Mae) Fox, Clayton (Kathy) Fox, Jay (Paulette) Fox and sisters Vera Stewart and Rhonda Miller. The family would like to say a special thanks to Melissa Lamb and the staff of Dr. Mathers as well as UT Home Health and Hospice. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Junior Gorrell and Rev. Charlie Owensby officiating.Graveside service will be 1 p. m. Friday at the Union Cemetery.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fox family.
