Mr. Michael S. Waldroup
04/24/1980 – 11/29/2023
Mr. Michael Shane Waldroup, age 43, of Newport, passed away Wednesday morning, November 29 2023 at his home.
He attended Faith, Hope and Love Baptist Church. He was employed at American Appliance. He will be remembered as a great father, amazing son and he was loved by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Phillip and Mabel Lee Ellison and Willard and Ada Waldroup; sister Lisa Beaver; uncles James Waldroup, Johnny Waldroup and Cletus Waldroup and aunts Evelyn Joann Ellison Burgess and Delsie Waldroup.
Survivors include his wife Kelly Waldroup; daughters Hayle Waldroup and Sarah Waldroup; grandson Montarius Jamal Balderas; father Doyle J. Waldroup; mother Donna Gail Ellison Beaver; sisters Gail Roberts and Ann M. Holt and a brother Carroll P. Beaver; uncles Lonnie Ellison, Roy Dan Ellison, Joey Neil Ellison and David Ellison; aunts Shirley Ellison, Linda Beaudette, Kathy Grooms, Amy Ellison, Rita Blankenship and Wilma Owenby. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews including Ben Holt and Richie Holt, cousins and friends

Family and friends will meet at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Ellison Cemetery for the 2:30 p.m. graveside service with Pastor Jon Walton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home.
