Mrs. Mildred Irene Hall's Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Irene Hall, age 84, of Parrottsville passed away Saturday evening, August 8, 2015 at Newport Medical Center.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband Eugene D. Hall; parents Charlie and Nora Holt; brother Charlie Holt Jr.; sister Cora Eloise Holt; sister-in-laws Edith Thorsett and Thelma Askew, brother-in-law Clift Thorsett; nephews Robert Briggs, Danny Holt and Russell Holt.
Survivors include her son Jerry (Joanne)Hall and daughter Joyce Ogle all of Parrottsville; grandchildren Stacy (Mark) Siemans of Colorado, Sandy Hall of California, Stephanie Gorrell of Newport, Allison (Dylan) Battaglia of Parrottsville: great grandchildren Samuel Siemans of Colorado, Hayden Gorrell of Parrottsville, Madison Williams and Sidney Battaglia; brother Jimmy Holt of Paint Rock, N.C.; sister Susie (Hendel) Fox of Taylorsville,N.C; nephews Dick (Judy) Biggs of Georgia, Edward Thorsett of Virginia, Ken Thorsett of Maryland; nieces Tenille Fox of Chapel Hill, NC, Sharon (Jerry) Kelly and Carol Johnson all of Georgia; sister-in-law Frances Holt of Newport.
The funeral service will be held 8:00pm Wednesday evening, August 12, 2015 the West End Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Moody and Pastor Eddie Bolin officiating. The family will meet 9:45am Thursday morning, August 13, 2015 at Union cemetery for the 10:00am interment.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday evening, August 12, 2015 at the West End Baptist Church prior to the service.
