Mitchell Rollins, 72, Newport, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center.He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bernice Green Rollins, sister, Faye Southerland, brother Creed Rollins, who passed away shortly after Mitchell, nephew Matthew Rollins, and niece, Amanda Rollins.He is survived by brother, George B. Rollins(Frances) of Hartford, brother-in-law, H.C. Southerland of Del Rio. Sisters, Debbie Ford of Newport, Joyce (Alfred) Hall of Newport, sister-in-law, Barbara Rollins of Hartford, and good friend, Junior Mooneyham of Hartford, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 12 noon in the Laws-Green Cemetery.Online condolences may be sent to www.brownfuneralhomenewport.comBrown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rollins Family.
