Mrs. Molly Ruth Ottinger's Obituary
Mrs. Molly Ruth Garner Ottinger, age 82, of Newport, passed away Wednesday morning, June 26, 2024 at home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas “Tom” Ottinger; parents Lester and Rhoda Garner; sisters Ella Mae Ivey, Virgie Ottinger and Helen Ottinger and brothers Cephas Garner and Richard Garner.
Survivors include her daughters Sue Ottinger and Jetta Hefner; sisters Wilma Owenby and Wanda Northern. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening, June 27, 2024, in the Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Swann officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Friday at Union Cemetery for the 10:00 a.m. Interment. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home prior to the service.
