Paul H. Williams, age 77 of Cosby, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. Paul has arrived to his home in Heaven and he is now with his Lord, Jesus Christ.Paul was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, and an active member and former caretaker of Holder’s Grove Baptist Missionary Church, and a carrier for the Newport Plain Talk for 13 years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Blanche; brother, Michael; and sister, Venease.He is survived by his wife Betty; sons, Paul (Donna), Scott, Steven (Janet) & Tim; daughters, Susan (Charles), Tracey (Brandon), & Lisa; brothers, Carl (Lynn), Gary (Corliss), & Leroy; and stepson, Todd Whaley; as well as many grandchildren, few great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews & wonderful friends.For the exceptional care given to Mr. Williams, the family wishes to express gratitude to Charlie Grooms and the staff of Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice.Pastor Randall Freeman will officiate over the funeral service at 7PM Monday, November 26, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM, prior to the service.A graveside service with military honors will take place at 11AM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in the Waters-Large Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations to help cover outstanding medical expenses.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Williams family.
