Mr. Rabon Holt

Mr. Rabon Holt, age 87 of Newport, passed away on Wednesday, July 5,2023, at Heritage Life Care Center in Morristown. He was easy to love and well liked by all who met him.
He was a member of McCowan Creek Church of God for many years.
Mr. Holt is preceded in death by his parents; London England Holt and Eura Stephenson Holt, sisters; Nettie Mae Calfee, Wanda Faye Lewis, and Betty Jean Holt Hall, brothers; Willard, Bruce, Herman, Winford and Alton Holt.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Maxine C. Holt; daughters Judy Cody (Gary) of Dandridge, Melissa Kiehl (Michael) of Knoxville; son Ronnie Holt (Peggy) of Fredericksburg VA; grandchildren Selah Kiehl, Jonah Kiehl, Charlsie Colleen “C.C.” MacArthur, Cassidy Holt, Stephen Holt; great grandchildren Naomi and Norah MacArther and sister Ruth Cody.
A special “Thank You” to all the Nurses and Staff at Heritage, as well as the Nurses of Gentiva Hospice. Your dedication to you job was evidenced in your care for Rabon.
The family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m. Friday July 7, 2023 at New Home Cemetery for the 1:30 p.m. graveside service with Pastor Gregg Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Friday morning at Costner-Maloy & Brown Funeral Home
