Mr. Richard L. Monasterio's Obituary
Mr. Richard Lee Monasterio, age 85, of Newport, passed away Tuesday evening, November 30, 2021 at his home.
He was a member of The Church of The Good Shepherd. He was the proprietor of Klyn's catering, along with his wife and was a retired Telecommunication Specialist with AT&T.
Mr. Monasterio proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Monasterio and mother Leota Gray; daughter Michelle Whiteside and son Todd Monasterio.
A beloved husband, father and grandfather, he leaves to morn his passing his wife Kathy Monasterio of the home; children Rhonda, Rick, Tim, Danny and Peter; seventeen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; brother Charles and sister Darlene.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday morning, December 8, 2021 at The Church of The Good Shepherd with Father Bob Hofstetter officiating.
