Mr. Ted M. Ford's Obituary
Mr. Ted Marvin Ford, age 76, passed away Friday evening, March 29, 2019 at Newport Medical Center.
Mr. Ford was a member of the Grassy Fork Community. Throughout his life he enjoyed farming. One of his favorite pastimes was singing and making music on his guitar.
He was preceded in death by his parents Parker Jr. and Viola Ford; brothers Don Ford and Von Ford.
Survivors include his children Gina Ford Pratt of Grassy Fork, Chris Ford and Lisa Ford both of Newport; grandson Cory Pratt of LA, California; brothers Gary (Sue) Ford and Roger (Cathy) Ford; sisters Geraldine Hall and Marilyn Arrowood all of Grassy Fork and Rowena (Frank) Waldrop of Denton. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Doctor Murray, the nurses and staff at Newport Medical Center and a good friend Ken Haszard.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Black's Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. at the Cemetery for 11:00 am. interment.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, April 1, 2019 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
