Ms. Teresa "Crickett" Suggs' Obituary
Ms. Teresa Ann “Crickett” Suggs, age 54, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022 after a courageous battle of cancer. She was surrounded by love ones who will miss her.
She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Manning Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by her father Billy H. Suggs; grandparents Zell and Beulah Ottiger and William and Edith Suggs; aunts Rosie Ottinger, Evelyn Suggs, Wanda Thomas, Daluris Suggs and Mary Bible; uncles Buddy Suggs, Ray Suggs, Jake Bible, Ronnie Lane and Don Tucker and “Bubby” Robert William Gann Jr.
Survivors include her mother JoAnn Suggs; brother Billy Suggs (Lisa)and their sons Michael (Tonya) Suggs of Utah, Chris Suggs and Jacquie Suggs of South Carolina; sister Pamela (Jimmy) Carmack and their daughter Tabitha Mead of Nashville;special friend, family member and sister Gupta (Doc) Ruchi; aunts Janett (Darrell) Stltner and Pat Lane both of Newport; three special uncles Jim (Anne)Suggs and Carl Thomas all of Parrottsville and Melvin (Marilyn) Ottinger; great niece and nephews Daylon, Landon, Parker and Olivia Suggs. Additional survivors include a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Staff of Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice, Dr. David Kickliter and Libby and Pastor Scott Gorrell.
Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon, July 7, 2022 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 2:00 p.m. graveside service with Pastor Scott Gorrell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-9959
