Obituary
Warren "Barb" Rader, age 75, of Parrottsville, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Fort Sanders Hospital after a 5 week illness.He was a graduate of Parrottsville High School and retired in 1998 after 34 years at American Enka (Lenzing) as a supervisor. He worked as a truck driver for 18 years and worked a dairy farm. His favorite pastime was riding his John Deere tractor. He was a 45 year member of the ETATA-East Tennessee Antique Tractor Association (tractor pulling), and hanging around “the shop”. He was a member of the Oven Creek United Methodist ChurchHe was preceded in death by his parents, Warren, Sr. and Faye Rader, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sam and Alice Gregg, and brother-in-law, Norman Gregg.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Rader, son, Mitch (Tammy) Rader, daughter, Brandyn (Robert) Bowers, grandson, Dustin Rader, granddaughter, Brailynn Bowers, brother, Ron (Scottie) Rader, sister, Margaret (Bud) Blazer, brother-in-law, Phil (Sheri) Gregg, nephews, Wayne (April) Rader, Travis Rader, Chris (Sandy) Gregg, nieces, Barbara (Jeff) Ottinger, Misty (Jay) Jarnigan, Brooke (Tyler) Grahl, several great nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Mark Barber and Rev. Jon Pursley. Burial will take place Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00am in the Oven Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rader family.
