Woody E. Lawson, 71, of Newport, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018.He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Juanita Lawson and father-in-law, Herbert Wiley.He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tura Lawson, daughter, Sierra (Dennis) Wilds, stepson, Johnny Denton, grandchildren, Hayden and Shawna, a favorite aunt, Joyce Conway, mother-in-law, Eloise Wiley, and numerous other special friends and family members.The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Brown Funeral Home.
