I came to know Jimmy while coaching rec ball at Bridgeport. He was always great to talk to, gave great advice and truly understood what it took to succeed on the ball court. April and I just had a conversation with him on Monday at the CCHS ballgame. How great was his love for the players? I saw it at every game and every practice! He was especially encouraging and helpful with my son, Andrew. He gave him great advice and told him to keep his head up when things didn’t go as he expected. Not only did we lose a great coach but we lost one of the best people I have ever met!! May God give comfort to the family and all those former players that he impacted. Darren and April Wines
