Mr. Jimmy Eldridge Costner, Jr, age 73, of Newport, passed away Thursday Morning, December 7, 2023 at his home.
He was a United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eldridge Costner and Lula Bell Sams; sisters Linda West, Mary Lil Norwood, Shirley Holt, Jane Collins, Judy Hicks and Kathy Willis; brothers Randy Sams, Johnny Sams and Tommy Sams and a special friend Delana Adams.
Survivors include his wife Eugena Costner of the home; son Jimmy Costner (Crystal); grandson Jimmy Austin Costner; granddaughters Cianna Davis and Trinity Smithers; sister Wanda (Mike) Phillips all of Newport and brother Sammy Costner of Parrottsville. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
